# TimeFinder vs Query

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Query at none against TimeFinder's 10. Query also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 70%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). TimeFinder's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (1.9K vs 1). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TimeFinder sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Query asks for nothing beyond the download.

Query holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TimeFinder has 1.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 70% of TimeFinder's written reviews are positive against 100% of Query's.

TimeFinder ships an update daily, Query every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
