# TimeFinder vs Penguin Planner

The clearest difference is update cadence: TimeFinder at daily against Penguin Planner's fortnightly. TimeFinder also leads on ratings volume (1.9K vs 1) and device support (5 vs 2). Penguin Planner's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 70%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TimeFinder sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Penguin Planner sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Penguin Planner holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TimeFinder has 1.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 70% of TimeFinder's written reviews are positive against 100% of Penguin Planner's.

TimeFinder ships an update daily, Penguin Planner fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
