# Diary with lock vs Lifebook

The clearest difference is rating: Diary with lock at 4.3 against Lifebook's 3.8. Diary with lock also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 10). Lifebook's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (83% vs 66%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Diary with lock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Lifebook asks for nothing beyond the download.

Diary with lock holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Diary with lock has 1.2K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Diary with lock's written reviews are positive against 83% of Lifebook's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
