# Drop In Nest vs Jetscout

The clearest difference is ads: Jetscout at none against Drop In Nest's shown. Jetscout also leads on review sentiment (75% vs 50%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Drop In Nest's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 30 months) and ratings volume (245 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Drop In Nest holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drop In Nest has 245 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Drop In Nest's written reviews are positive against 75% of Jetscout's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Drop In Nest ships an update every 6 weeks, Jetscout every 30 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
