# Viell vs Elele

The clearest difference is ads: Viell at none against Elele's shown. Viell also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). Elele's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 41) and review sentiment (64% vs 47%). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Viell sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Elele sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $2.89 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Viell against 4.6 for Elele. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Elele has 1.5K ratings behind it against 41, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 47% of Viell's written reviews are positive against 64% of Elele's.

Viell ships an update every 10 days, Elele monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
