# GHeight vs GO2TRain

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GO2TRain at 74% against GHeight's 12%. GO2TRain also leads on rating (4.9 vs 1.3) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 24). GHeight's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GHeight sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and GO2TRain sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GO2TRain holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GO2TRain has 1.3K ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 12% of GHeight's written reviews are positive against 74% of GO2TRain's.

GHeight ships an update weekly, GO2TRain monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
