# HEY CLAY® vs Spaced Math

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Spaced Math at 100% against HEY CLAY®'s 58%. Spaced Math also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). HEY CLAY®'s advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 11). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HEY CLAY® sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Spaced Math sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Spaced Math holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HEY CLAY® has 13K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 58% of HEY CLAY®'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Spaced Math's.

HEY CLAY® ships an update fortnightly, Spaced Math every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
