# Love Balls vs Drop Thorns

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Drop Thorns at 100% against Love Balls's 55%. Drop Thorns also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 14) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Love Balls's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (557K vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Love Balls sells 14 one-off in-app purchases. Drop Thorns asks for nothing beyond the download.

Love Balls holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Love Balls has 557K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Love Balls's written reviews are positive against 100% of Drop Thorns's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
