# Marbles in a Jar vs Sticky Notes Widget

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Marbles in a Jar at 80% against Sticky Notes Widget's 29%. Marbles in a Jar also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). Sticky Notes Widget's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (6.6K vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Marbles in a Jar sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Sticky Notes Widget sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sticky Notes Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sticky Notes Widget has 6.6K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Marbles in a Jar's written reviews are positive against 29% of Sticky Notes Widget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Marbles in a Jar ships an update every 4 days, Sticky Notes Widget daily. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
