# Dopamine vs Alysia

The clearest difference is rating: Dopamine at 4.6 against Alysia's 3.0. Dopamine also leads on ratings volume (618 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dopamine sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Alysia sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dopamine holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dopamine has 618 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Dopamine ships an update fortnightly, Alysia weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
