# MWPlay vs IPTV Smarters Player PRO

The clearest difference is rating: IPTV Smarters Player PRO at 4.6 against MWPlay's 3.0. IPTV Smarters Player PRO also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 2) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). MWPlay's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IPTV Smarters Player PRO sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. MWPlay asks for nothing beyond the download.

IPTV Smarters Player PRO holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IPTV Smarters Player PRO has 1.4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of MWPlay's written reviews are positive against 59% of IPTV Smarters Player PRO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MWPlay ships an update fortnightly, IPTV Smarters Player PRO weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
