# Vaahaka vs OttPlayertv

The clearest difference is ratings volume: OttPlayertv at 9.3K against Vaahaka's 2. OttPlayertv also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Vaahaka's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Vaahaka against 4.5 for OttPlayertv. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OttPlayertv has 9.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Vaahaka ships an update every 2 months, OttPlayertv fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
