# Vaahaka vs MiniShorts

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Vaahaka at none against MiniShorts's 13. Vaahaka also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). MiniShorts's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (7.9K vs 2). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MiniShorts sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 7 days. Vaahaka asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Vaahaka against 4.6 for MiniShorts. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MiniShorts has 7.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Vaahaka ships an update every 2 months, MiniShorts every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on June 1, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
