# Radio Kingston vs Resistbot

The clearest difference is rating: Radio Kingston at 5.0 against Resistbot's 4.6. Radio Kingston also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Resistbot's advantage is ratings volume (100 vs 5) and review sentiment (63% vs 50%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Radio Kingston holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Resistbot has 100 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Radio Kingston's written reviews are positive against 63% of Resistbot's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Radio Kingston ships an update every 6 weeks, Resistbot every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
