# Modacity vs ClefNotes Music Practice App

The clearest difference is rating: ClefNotes Music Practice App at 5.0 against Modacity's 4.3. Modacity's advantage is ratings volume (284 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Modacity sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and ClefNotes Music Practice App sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
