# Modacity vs EarPT

The clearest difference is update cadence: EarPT at every 3 days against Modacity's every 2 months. Modacity's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Modacity sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and EarPT sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Modacity ships an update every 2 months, EarPT every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
