# MetroCompass vs Flashmark

The clearest difference is update cadence: Flashmark at every 4 days against MetroCompass's every 2 months. MetroCompass's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MetroCompass ships an update every 2 months, Flashmark every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
