# Summit Racing vs S

The clearest difference is ads: S at none against Summit Racing's shown. S also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). Summit Racing's advantage is ratings volume (71K vs 8) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Summit Racing holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Summit Racing has 71K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Summit Racing ships an update every 2 months, S every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
