# Summit Racing vs PriceGuidePro

The clearest difference is ads: PriceGuidePro at none against Summit Racing's shown. PriceGuidePro also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Summit Racing's advantage is ratings volume (65K vs 11). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PriceGuidePro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Summit Racing has 65K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Summit Racing ships an update every 2 months, PriceGuidePro fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
