# Gritty Spanish vs AI Spanish Learning

The clearest difference is rating: AI Spanish Learning at 4.3 against Gritty Spanish's 3.9. On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gritty Spanish sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and AI Spanish Learning sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Spanish Learning holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 98 and 128 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Gritty Spanish's written reviews are positive against 56% of AI Spanish Learning's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
