# Surface vs Hidden Objects

The clearest difference is ads: Surface at none against Hidden Objects's shown. Surface also leads on ratings volume (894 vs 81) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 14.0). Hidden Objects's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 62%). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Surface sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Hidden Objects sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Surface against 4.7 for Hidden Objects. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Surface has 894 ratings behind it against 81, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 62% of Surface's written reviews are positive against 80% of Hidden Objects's.
