# B4Grad vs Subjects

The clearest difference is rating: Subjects at 5.0 against B4Grad's 4.3. Subjects also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). B4Grad's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. B4Grad sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Subjects sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Subjects holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: B4Grad has 1.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

B4Grad ships an update fortnightly, Subjects weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
