# MinaMyte vs Yubico Authenticator

The clearest difference is rating: Yubico Authenticator at 3.7 against MinaMyte's 1.0. Yubico Authenticator also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ratings volume (286 vs 1). MinaMyte's advantage is review sentiment (81% vs 43%) and iOS requirement (9.3 vs 16.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MinaMyte sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Yubico Authenticator asks for nothing beyond the download.

Yubico Authenticator holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yubico Authenticator has 286 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of MinaMyte's written reviews are positive against 43% of Yubico Authenticator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
