# Flight Logs vs Crew Call

The clearest difference is price: Crew Call at Free against Flight Logs's $0.99. Crew Call also leads on review sentiment (86% vs 52%). Flight Logs's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly) and rating (4.4 vs 4.0). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Crew Call is free to download; Flight Logs costs $0.99 up front. Flight Logs sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Crew Call sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $69.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flight Logs holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flight Logs has 64 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Flight Logs's written reviews are positive against 86% of Crew Call's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flight Logs ships an update every 4 days, Crew Call monthly. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
