# Preply vs UJA App

The clearest difference is monetization model: UJA App at free against Preply's free with in-app purchases. Preply's advantage is ratings volume (45K vs 5) and chart position (#86 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

UJA App holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Preply has 45K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Preply ships an update weekly, UJA App fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
