# Preply vs devmio

Preply and devmio both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of devmio's written reviews are positive against 53% of Preply's. Preply's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (45K vs 28). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. devmio sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Preply asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Preply against 4.7 for devmio.
