# Preply vs Superfluent

Preply and Superfluent both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 93% of Superfluent's written reviews are positive against 54% of Preply's. Preply's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 12) and ratings volume (45K vs 3.2K). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Superfluent sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $10.99 per month. Preply asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Preply against 4.9 for Superfluent.
