# SailSpeed vs NaviLog

The clearest difference is update cadence: NaviLog at every 3 weeks against SailSpeed's every 14 months. NaviLog also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SailSpeed sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and NaviLog sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SailSpeed ships an update every 14 months, NaviLog every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
