# Kanguka vs Devotion First

The clearest difference is update cadence: Devotion First at every 4 days against Kanguka's every 2 months. Devotion First also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). Kanguka's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (262 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Devotion First holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kanguka has 262 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Kanguka ships an update every 2 months, Devotion First every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
