# Turn vs BrainWash

The clearest difference is rating: BrainWash at 5.0 against Turn's 3.8. BrainWash also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). Turn's advantage is ratings volume (2.7K vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Turn sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per 7 days. BrainWash asks for nothing beyond the download.

BrainWash holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Turn has 2.7K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Turn ships an update weekly, BrainWash fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
