# XLR8 vs DrillDraw Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: DrillDraw Mobile at 5.0 against XLR8's 4.4. DrillDraw Mobile also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 11 months). XLR8's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. XLR8 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.49 per month and DrillDraw Mobile sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DrillDraw Mobile holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: XLR8 has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

XLR8 ships an update every 11 months, DrillDraw Mobile every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
