# Turboprop Flight Simulator vs Airplane Avoidance

The clearest difference is rating: Turboprop Flight Simulator at 4.7 against Airplane Avoidance's 4.0. Turboprop Flight Simulator also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 3). Airplane Avoidance's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Turboprop Flight Simulator holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Turboprop Flight Simulator has 13K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of Turboprop Flight Simulator's written reviews are positive against 100% of Airplane Avoidance's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Turboprop Flight Simulator ships an update every 2 months, Airplane Avoidance every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
