# Live DV vs Remali DV

The clearest difference is rating: Remali DV at 2.6 against Live DV's 2.0. Remali DV also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). Live DV's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 19 months) and review sentiment (15% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Remali DV holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Live DV has 139 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of Live DV's written reviews are positive against 0% of Remali DV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
