# Live DV vs WLAN Trail camera

The clearest difference is review sentiment: WLAN Trail camera at 100% against Live DV's 15%. WLAN Trail camera also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). Live DV's advantage is rating (2.0 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (139 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Live DV holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Live DV has 139 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of Live DV's written reviews are positive against 100% of WLAN Trail camera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Live DV ships an update every 6 weeks, WLAN Trail camera every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
