# APPICS vs Farcaster

The clearest difference is rating: Farcaster at 4.6 against APPICS's 4.0. Farcaster also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 14). APPICS's advantage is review sentiment (90% vs 51%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. APPICS sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Farcaster sells 16 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Farcaster holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Farcaster has 1.1K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of APPICS's written reviews are positive against 51% of Farcaster's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

APPICS ships an update every 3 weeks, Farcaster every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
