# Seven Dots vs POPLINKS

The clearest difference is rating: POPLINKS at 4.8 against Seven Dots's 4.6. Seven Dots's advantage is ratings volume (274 vs 19). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Seven Dots sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and POPLINKS sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

POPLINKS holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Seven Dots has 274 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Seven Dots's written reviews are positive against 56% of POPLINKS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Seven Dots ships an update every 3 months, POPLINKS every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
