# Dead Zed vs Stained Act1

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Stained Act1 at none against Dead Zed's 11. Stained Act1 also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 12.0). Dead Zed's advantage is ratings volume (3.6K vs 25). On price, rating, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dead Zed sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Stained Act1 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Dead Zed holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dead Zed has 3.6K ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Dead Zed's written reviews are positive against 76% of Stained Act1's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
