# Equalizer Pro + vs EQ560

The clearest difference is price: EQ560 at Free against Equalizer Pro +'s $4.99. EQ560 also leads on review sentiment (60% vs 47%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). Equalizer Pro +'s advantage is rating (4.2 vs 3.7) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

EQ560 is free to download; Equalizer Pro + costs $4.99 up front. EQ560 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Equalizer Pro + asks for nothing beyond the download.

Equalizer Pro + holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Equalizer Pro + has 557 ratings behind it against 30, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Equalizer Pro +'s written reviews are positive against 60% of EQ560's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Equalizer Pro + ships an update fortnightly, EQ560 every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
