# iNote vs Pulse

The clearest difference is ads: Pulse at none against iNote's shown. Pulse also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 7 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iNote sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Pulse sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iNote ships an update every 7 months, Pulse every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
