# VISUALS vs cut out background

The clearest difference is update cadence: cut out background at every 6 weeks against VISUALS's every 4 months. VISUALS's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VISUALS sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and cut out background sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VISUALS ships an update every 4 months, cut out background every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
