# Perks vs Desana

The clearest difference is rating: Perks at 3.0 against Desana's 2.0. Desana's advantage is review sentiment (40% vs 14%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Perks holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of Perks's written reviews are positive against 40% of Desana's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Perks ships an update every 2 months, Desana monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
