# BiAffect vs EDAM

The clearest difference is update cadence: EDAM at every 2 days against BiAffect's monthly. EDAM also leads on iOS requirement (10.3 vs 16.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BiAffect ships an update monthly, EDAM every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
