# GolfSoftware.com vs aG Locker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GolfSoftware.com at 80% against aG Locker's 31%. GolfSoftware.com also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). aG Locker's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (2.7K vs 24). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

aG Locker holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: aG Locker has 2.7K ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of GolfSoftware.com's written reviews are positive against 31% of aG Locker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 15, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
