# Relaxable vs Pause Care

The clearest difference is rating: Pause Care at 5.0 against Relaxable's 4.4. Pause Care also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 84%). Relaxable's advantage is ratings volume (317 vs 2) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Relaxable sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $24.99 per year and Pause Care sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pause Care holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Relaxable has 317 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 84% of Relaxable's written reviews are positive against 100% of Pause Care's.

Relaxable ships an update every 6 months, Pause Care every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
