# Pretzelmaker Rewards vs Sbarro

The clearest difference is ads: Pretzelmaker Rewards at none against Sbarro's shown. Pretzelmaker Rewards also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). Sbarro's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (1.8K vs 307). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sbarro holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sbarro has 1.8K ratings behind it against 307, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 19% of Pretzelmaker Rewards's written reviews are positive against 22% of Sbarro's.

Pretzelmaker Rewards ships an update every 9 months, Sbarro fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
