# Puppemoji vs Virtual Face

The clearest difference is rating: Puppemoji at 4.0 against Virtual Face's 3.6. Puppemoji also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and ratings volume (48 vs 8). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Puppemoji holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Puppemoji has 48 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of Puppemoji's written reviews are positive against 50% of Virtual Face's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Puppemoji ships an update weekly, Virtual Face monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
