# Export Contacts vs CSV Master

The clearest difference is rating: Export Contacts at 4.3 against CSV Master's 3.7. Export Contacts also leads on review sentiment (70% vs 33%) and ads (none vs shown). CSV Master's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Export Contacts sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and CSV Master sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Export Contacts holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Export Contacts has 89 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Export Contacts ships an update every 2 months, CSV Master every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
