# 144 vs Google Fit

The clearest difference is rating: 144 at 5.0 against Google Fit's 4.2. 144 also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). Google Fit's advantage is ratings volume (2.2K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

144 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Google Fit has 2.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

144 ships an update every 2 weeks, Google Fit every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
