# XT vs DE FPV

XT and DE FPV both sit at 3.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 37% of DE FPV's written reviews are positive against 20% of XT's. XT's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 11.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

XT holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 67 and 191 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of XT's written reviews are positive against 37% of DE FPV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

XT ships an update every 2 weeks, DE FPV every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
