# XT vs TRB FPV

The clearest difference is rating: XT at 3.8 against TRB FPV's 2.8. XT also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). TRB FPV's advantage is review sentiment (36% vs 20%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

XT holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 2.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 67 and 84 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of XT's written reviews are positive against 36% of TRB FPV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

XT ships an update every 2 weeks, TRB FPV every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
